Blog Tagged bellows spring, blogging, techno cheetah May 13th, 2008I’m excited to introduce this blog which I hope will be an informative and entertaining resource for the Bellows Spring community. Please take a few minutes and read through the About page and the Comment Info page to learn more about the purpose of this blog and the guidelines for students who wish to make comments. I realize you might think it’s a bit late in the year to roll out something brand new like this but I want to introduce the idea of blogging this year to lay the foundation to get some of Bellows’s students blogging next school year.
If you’ve heard the word “blog” or “weblog” before but don’t really understand what a blog is or the purpose behind a blog, I think this short video gives a great introduction to blogging from CommonCraft:

This is a great example of a teacher blog. Thank you for sharing it. I am testing the blogging waters myself but am not quite ready to jump in. The initial focus of my blog will be a professional development vehicle within my school. I especially like the blog video you put into your blog. In addition, I think the idea of one post a week is reasonable and doable and not so overwhelming. I appreciate your willingness to keep me in the loop of your next adventure. I
