If you’re a fan of snow days like me, you may already be checking the extended forecast to see if snow is in the future.  But how do you know where to look for accurate forecasts?  There are so many websites devoted to weather forecasting it can be difficult to figure out which one to trust.  Although no forecast is perfect, ForecastAdvisor gives you the forecast accuracy from several major weather websites for your area.

As of this writing, The Weather Channel website has been the most accurate for the Baltimore area in the last month.

Projector Power

This post is directed towards Bellows Spring’s teachers.

Please consider applying for the grant to get an LCD projector for your classroom.  To help inspire you, I found this brief video made by a math teacher named Dan about how using a projector has transformed his teaching.  Dan teaches high school but his overall message still applies to teachers of younger grades.  Please take a minute to watch it; the video is inspiring and truly captures authentic technology integration.
