Just added to the Student Project Gallery:
See how 4th graders learned to use the copyright symbol in their Poetry with Pixie projects. The examples have a winter holiday theme.
Two new 5th grade projects have been added to the Student Project Gallery.
1. Mrs. Rudo’s homeroom class took diaries entries they wrote during language arts and created a multimedia video with pictures and narration of the diaries.
2. Ms. Fabre’s, Ms. Thompson’s, and Mrs. Westendorf’s classes created class Google Earth Tours showing “Wonders of the World.”
Exemplary examples of third grade Pixie activities about word choice, one of the 6+1 Writing Traits, have been added to the Student Project Gallery.
Last week, ABC News profiled the nationwide Watch D.O.G.S. program. Did you know that Bellows Spring was the first school in Maryland to become a Watch D.O.G.S. school?

Planet PowerPoint presentations created by fourth graders have been added to the Student Project Gallery. I will continue to post updates on the front page of this blog as I add more student projects to the gallery.
Regular visitors to this blog may have noticed a few changes this past week. First, the overall look of the blog has been updated. I thought the blue-green theme is a cleaner and easier to read template. Second, there is now a “Student Project Gallery” page. As of this writing, there are Voicethread projects from several 3rd and 4th grade classes from last year and examples of comic strips this year’s 5th graders created about first aid procedures. The project gallery is a work in progress but I will gradually be adding more exemplary examples of projects students complete in technology class.
